Step into Wymondham’s past with a special day celebrating the town’s fascinating history and heritage.
On Saturday 12 September, venues across Wymondham will be opening their doors with free activities, exhibitions and opportunities to discover more about the people, places and stories that have shaped the town.
Explore Wymondham Abbey with heritage and discovery activities, including bell tower tours, medieval carvings, and organ recital. Visit the Wymondham Heritage Museum and Tearoom at the historic Bridewell, enjoy the Norfolk Creations Autumn Exhibition, and discover the Norfolk Knitters & Stitchers Makers Fest at Central Hall.
There’ll be plenty for families to enjoy too, making it a lovely excuse to spend the day exploring Wymondham and discovering a little more of the history hiding on your doorstep.
